School Projects

During my studies at Conestoga College, I completed a variety of hands-on carpentry and renovation projects that helped me build a strong foundation in residential construction.
These projects included framing, roofing, drywall, cabinetmaking, and interior finishing.

Through these experiences, I learned how to:
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
• Measure, cut, and assemble wood and composite materials accurately
• Build framing for walls, floors, and roofs following Ontario Building Code standards
• Install drywall, baseboards, casings, and trim work with attention to detail
• Work safely with power tools such as mitre saws, drills, nail guns, and table saws
• Plan project steps, manage time efficiently, and collaborate with classmates as a team

These projects not only strengthened my technical carpentry skills but also improved my problem-solving, organization, and teamwork abilities — skills that I now apply in my field work.
