A Little About Me
I am a Carpentry and Renovation Technician based in Waterloo, Ontario. I graduated from Conestoga College with a GPA of 3.82/4.0, and I have spent the past two years building real skills on real job sites — framing walls, hanging drywall, laying floors, and finishing spaces that people are proud to call home.
I came to Canada in 2023 and chose carpentry because I love working with my hands and solving problems that matter. It has not always been easy being one of the few women on the crew, but that is exactly what drives me. I hold a Working at Heights Certificate, a valid G Driver License.

Carpenter at YNC Contracting

July 2025 – October 2025
Waterloo and Kitchener, ON
Carpenter at Smarthome4u Property Service
I handled residential renovation tasks — partition framing, flooring installation, painting, and drywall repairs. I took pride in delivering clean professional results and building good relationships with clients.

My first co-op taught me the importance of precision. I installed baseboards and trim with exact measurements and miter cuts — the kind of detail work that makes a space feel truly finished.

Award & Recognition

I was honoured to receive this award for demonstrating independence and resilience in a male-dominated field. It means a lot to me — not just as recognition, but as a reminder that I belong here.
